MADE LIKE
NONNA WOULDReal oil. Real families. No fakes.
Lucali doesn't do shortcuts and neither does Nonna. HOT EVOO starts with the same Biancolilla olives as our drizzling oil, grown in Borgetto, first cold pressed within hours, then gets infused with Italian chili peppers. The heat builds slow and warm instead of scorching, so you taste the olive oil and the chili, in that order.

The Difference
WHY THIS HOT OIL
Most chili oils are cheap oil plus extract. This one starts with real Sicilian EVOO and real peppers.
I DON'T DO EXTRACTS. I DON'T DO GIMMICKS. I DON'T DO MILD. I DO IT RIGHT. ASK THE BOYS AT LUCALI.

Questions
FREQUENTLY ASKED
What is HOT EVOO?
A collaboration with Lucali, the Brooklyn pizzeria. It's our Biancolilla extra virgin olive oil infused with Italian chili peppers, real oil, real peppers, no extracts, packed in a tin and sealed in Sicily until you open it.
How hot is it?
A warm, slow build rather than a sharp burn. You taste the olive oil first, then the Italian chili settles in. Heat lovers will still want to put it on everything; everyone else will still finish the tin.
What should I use it on?
Pizza, first and always; that's what it was made for with Lucali. After that: spicy vodka pasta, eggs, garlic bread, sandwiches, roasted vegetables, and anything that needs waking up.
Who is Lucali?
The Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn pizzeria with one of the most famous lines in pizza. Thin crust, fresh ingredients, no shortcuts, which is exactly why the collaboration made sense to Nonna.
Why the tin instead of a glass bottle?
Light is one of olive oil's worst enemies. The tin blocks sunlight completely, and it's filled and sealed in Sicily; the first time it's opened is in your kitchen.
